3-day Quick Getaways

Recommended destinations: Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand
Singapore public holidays:
– New Year’s Day (1 to 3 Jan)
– Chinese New Yer (6 to 8 Feb)
– Good Friday (26 to 28 Mar)
– Labour Day (1 to 3 May)
– Hari Raya Haji (15 to 17 May)
– National Day (7 to 9 Aug)
There are five long weekends in 2027, and that’s without you having to take any leave! To bump it up to six, just take 1 day of leave on 3 May to add on to the Labour Day (1 May) holiday.

Here are some ideas for a quick 3-day getaway: Johor Bahru, Kuching, Ho Chi Minh City, Batam, Bintan and even Phu Quoc — there are now direct flights from Singapore, and you’ll get there in under 2-hours!
A trip filled with shopping, cafe-hopping, massages, and even island-hopping sounds like a great short break from work 😉

4-day Restful Retreats

Recommended destinations: Indonesia, Macao, Thailand, Taiwan, China
Singapore public holidays:
– Vesak Day (20 to 23 May)
– Deepavali (28 to 31 Oct)
Both Vesak Day (20 May) and Deepavali (28 Oct) Singapore public holidays fall on a Thursday in 2027, so you can take the Friday off to make it into a 4-day restful retreat!

Having 4 days also mean that you can venture a little further out than JB or Batam, and head to places like Labuan Bajo, Macao, Khao Yai, Phuket and Taipei.
We even covered Beijing before in that period and managed to hit iconic attractions like The Great Wall of China and Universal Studios Beiijing!

5-day (or More) Long Vacays

Recommended destinations: China, Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, United States, United Kingdom, Switzerland
Singapore public holidays:
– Hari Raya Puasa (10 to 14 Mar)
– Hari Raya Haji and Vesak Day (15 to 23 May)
Take leave on Thursday and Friday (11-12 Mar), to turn the Hari Raya Puasa (10 Mar) holiday into a 5-day long weekend.
This’ll give you ample time to fully enjoy Tokyo, Okinawa, Seoul and Jeju! Why not try new cities as well and explore Tohoku, Azumino and even Noto — home to the world’s first Pokémon Airport ⚡️

Or combine the Hari Raya Haji (17 May) and Vesak Day (20 May) Singapore public holidays and take 3 days of leave on 18, 19 and 21 May — making it into a super long 9-day vacay!
Then hop on a plane and jet off to these destinations: Chongqing, Los Angeles, Portugal, Zurich, UK
It also gives you enough time for an European adventure or a road trip in Australia and New Zealand — featuring a mix of city life, outdoor adventures, and scenic landscapes!
