Art history buffs, this is a must-visit. The Asian Civilisations Museum will host Crosscurrents: Masterpieces of Mughal, Safavid, and Ottoman Art from the Musée du Louvre, a major collaboration with Paris’s renowned Louvre Museum.
Instead of flying to France, you can catch over 100 masterpieces from the Louvre’s Islamic art collection, many making their debut in Southeast Asia. The exhibition traces how trade, diplomacy, and migration shaped the world from the 16th to the 18th centuries, showcasing stunning vintage artwork, jewelled artefacts, and intricate ceramics from the Mughal, Safavid, and Ottoman empires. It even includes 30 works from the museum’s own collection, illustrating how these global artistic exchanges influenced our own region.

27) Adventure Awaits at the New Mandai Rainforest Wild Adventure
Mandai Rainforest Wild Adventure is expanding with its second zone, introducing new animals, including the only two Okapis in Southeast Asia!
Look forward to exciting new attractions such as the Canopy Glider, which lets you view the animals from above. There are also activity-based experiences like the Ravine Swing and Treetop Traverse, a 125m harnessed course through the forest canopy. One ticket grants access to both Rainforest Wild Adventure EAST and WEST, which are connected by a free shuttle service and a sheltered walkway.
Depending on when you visit, a regular ticket includes up to nine of these Adventure+ activities, while a peak ticket includes up to five, with each activity valued at S$10.

28) Sentosa’s latest attractions: Skydrop and the Big Klook Slide open on 7 June
Skypark Sentosa is finally reopening to the public on 7 June 2026, and this time, it’s coming back with a huge upgrade!
Look out for two new attractions: Skydrop and the Big Klook Slide, both standing at 44m high — making them Southeast Asia’s tallest dry slides.
We were thrilled to be part of a media preview on 3 June 2026, with a sneak peek experience of these two Skyslides. Honestly, we felt like kids again, going down the slides and just having fun.
Skydrop holds the record for the world’s tallest land-based drop slide, and it starts with a thrilling drop, followed by multiple twists and turns. But don’t let all the screaming fool you, it’s really not as scary as it sounds 😉
On the other hand, the Big Klook Slide offers a more relaxing experience, with scenic views of Sentosa along the way. It has a built-in conveyor system which gently “glides” you down, making it great for families and kids.
We also loved how visitors can personalise their journey on both Skyslides and choose themes such as Jungle, Sea, Disco and more. Features include vibrant lights paired with music and audiovisual elements!
You can book your tickets for the activities via Klook or the Skypark Sentosa website. Skyslides tickets are sold in packages of two (S$28) or three (S$33) rides — don’t worry, you can mix and match.

32) New Permanent Art Space Opens in Gardens by the Bay — IMBA Theatre

If you’re looking for new IG-worthy spaces in SG, the newly opened IMBA Theatre at Gardens by the Bay is basically a playground for your camera. Forget stuffy seating and quiet hallways, this massive 80,000-square-foot space at the West Lawn is all about walking through art rather than just looking at it. The stars of the show right now are the giant, iconic bronze sculptures by Fernando Botero that have taken over the outdoor gardens. Energy peaks in the Cushion Clash pillow-fighting arena and the Sunset Lagoon, a golden-hued giant ball pit. 39) New SingLit Poems on the MRT is ongoing till 6 November 2026

The next time you travel on an MRT train, look up and see if you spot poems written by local poets. For a whole year starting 6 November 2025, poems in English, Chinese, Malay, and Tamil will be displayed in trains on the East-West, North-South, and Circle Lines. Poems will also be displayed on posters in train stations (until 6 May 2026) and in bulletins at bus stops (until 4 February 2026).
Poems on the MRT is a literary arts initiative by Singapore’s National Arts Council (NAC) designed to integrate poetry into the daily lives of commuters. The program achieves this by featuring selected poems and stanzas on the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) network, with the artwork displayed in locations such as inside train cabins and on station platform screens.
Feeling inspired by all that subway poetry? Now it’s your turn! Submit your own masterpiece to Poems on the MRT. Starting 15 November, you can see your words light up on the virtual poetry map for everyone to enjoy. The top three poems in each category, along with the crowd favourites, will take home cash prizes!
In December, your commute will also turn into a quest! The Poetry Hunt Competition, a massive scavenger hunt, will challenge you to spot, snap, and share photos of unique poems hidden across the MRT network. The more unique poems you find and submit, the closer you get to winning cool gear like custom stationery and bookstore vouchers. And if you manage to find every single featured poem, you’ll be entered to win the grand prize: a Kobo eReader fully loaded with Sing Lit titles!
