Dinosaur-themed attractions and more await at Changi Airport this Christmas!
Changi Festive Village is back this year, and we’re seeing Changi Airport and Jewel all decked out for the long-awaited holiday season. The plethora of installations and attractions can be a tad overwhelming, so here’s a guide to what you can look forward to at Changi Festive Village 2021.
Fun Activities for All Ages at Changi Festive Village
1) Dino Kart 2.0

First on the list is Dino 2.0, the zhng-ed up version of last year’s highly raved-about activity. This year, it’s located inside Terminal 4, making it Singapore’s first indoors and air-conditioned go-kart race track.
Challenge your friends and family on an exhilarating chase around the dinosaur-themed neon race track, zipping through the familiar check-in rows at speeds up to 24km/h, covering a distance of 400 metres.
Similar to last year, there will be two circuits — Novice and Pro*, with speed limits of 8km/h and 24km/h respectively.
*Pro Circuit is only available for ages 13 and above.
Entrance fee: Novice Circuit — from S$13 or S$10 with every S$25 spend ($50 for supermarkets); Pro Circuit — from S$18 or S$13 with every $25 spend ($50 for supermarkets). Check here for detailed pricing

2) Dino Carnival

Get into the festive mood with a localised, or should I say ‘dinosaurised’, Christmas market at Changi Festive Village. Dino Carnival is an indoor marketplace where you can find food, drinks, and games galore! Get merry on festive drinks and try your luck with prizes on the claw machines, Ice Fishing booth, or Dino Dig!

3) Dino Bounce

Jump for joy as Dino Bounce is also brought back this year due to popular demand! These giant inflatable playgrounds aren’t limited to just the kids. Anyone is welcomed as long as you’re looking to have some fun!
Entrance fee: S$8 or S$4 with every $25 ($50 for supermarkets) spend
Opening hours: 2PM – 10PM (Mon – Wed), 1PM – 10PM (Thu – Sun). Last entry 9:30PM. Open from 26 Nov – 2 Jan 2022 (Booking required on iChangi app)

Glamp-tastic Experiences at Changi Festive Village
4) Glam-party in the Clouds at Jewel

Chill and make merry in a luxurious glamping tent at the top level of Jewel’s Cloud9 Piazza. The air-conditioned glamping tents are furnished with stylish decor and dining ware, as well as a queen-sized bed. Have a memorable glam-party with fun board games or simply chill and catch some movies in the cosy tent with your loved ones.
Glam-party has a limit of maximum 5 pax in a Glamp tent.

5) ‘A Night at the Airport’ 2D1N Family Camp

For young families that prefer a more experiential camp with fun and educational activities, there’s the 2D1N Family Camp that gives exclusive access to behind-the-scenes airport experiences such as the Airport Emergency Services. There are also interesting creative workshops to keep the young minds busy. After a day of fun and learning, retreat to the cosy tents within the Changi Experience Studio for a magical sleepover.
A free-and-easy camping experience with access to the Changi Experience Studio and Canopy Park only is also available from S$58 per person.

6) Overnight Glamping by the Runway

Unless you’ve travelled on an existing VTL, it’s likely been over 600 days since you’ve taken a step into the transit area of Changi Airport. Relive your travel dreams with Singapore’s first airport transit glamping, and wake up to views of the runway with this unique sleepover experience.
And it’s not only about sleeping in a tent, glampers can also entertain themselves with indoor sports games, arcade games, and watch movies on-demand in the comfort of their own tents. Now that’s a really different staycation experience to boast about!

‘Grammable Attractions at Changi Festive Village
7) Dino Blitz

This year’s centrepiece, Dino Blitz, features two colossal moving Brachiosauruses in the icy snow terrain, transporting visitors right back to the ice age. The long-neck dinosaurs measure up to 12 metres long, so be sure to use the wide-angle function on your mobile cameras to capture them all!

8) Ready Jet Set Tsummm

And it’s not only prehistoric creatures that have made their arrival at Terminal 3. Adorable travel-themed Disney Tsum Tsum photo spots have also appeared within the same terminal, and they are sure to reignite your wanderlust!

9) Meet the World at Jewel

If a full day of activities at the airport isn’t enough to quench the travel thirst, maybe a trip to Changi Jewel’s Shiseido Forest Valley will. Destination-themed installations featuring iconic landmarks around the world are set up, such as a Japanese onsen, the Great Wall of China, Paris’ Eiffel Tower, and even wild animals of South Africa.

Feel free to take photos as you would on vacation while collecting stamps on a virtual passport to redeem free access to the Canopy Park.
Faux snowfall also happens at the Shiseido Forest Valley twice every hour from 6:15PM to 10:35PM daily.

3PM: Make your way to Terminal 4 and check-in to Glamping Tents by the runway. Thereafter, explore all the fun activities at Dino Carnival and Dino Bounce!
6PM: Enjoy delectable street food at Dino Carnival
7PM: Race your friends to a thrilling ride at Dino Kart 2.0
8PM: Lounge and chill at Heritage Zone, and enjoy facilities at the Entertainment Zone
10PM: Sweet dreams
Next morning: Enjoy a breakfast platter in your cosy glamping tent, and watch planes take off before your eyes
