Kick off the festive season with exciting things to do at Changi Festive Village 2022!

Changi Festive Village is back at Changi Airport and Jewel for another year of Christmas celebrations. Expect an exciting lineup of Avatar-themed installations, carnival games, and more — here’s a sneak peek of the five best experiences this year at Changi Festive Village!
1) Avatar: The Way of Water-inspired Marui Pod

Located at the T3 Departure Hall, Avatar: The Way of Water-inspired Marui Pod is a life-sized replica of the Metkayina (an oceanic Na’vi clan) and their abode. Purchase a photo pass (S$5) to take a picture at these pods and be fully immersed in Pandora 😉.
*Pro-tip: Redeem a free photo pass when you spend S$50 at participating retail and F&B outlets at Changi Airport or Jewel.

Come in the evening for the light shows with special effects and projections, as well as live band performances! And drop by the Avatar pop-up store for some Avatar merchandise — such as exclusive Avatar toys and glow-in-the-dark t-shirts.
Check the show schedule beforehand as it differs each day.

Opening hours: 11AM – 10PM
Event period: 11 Nov 2022 – 1 Jan 2023
Address: Terminal 3 (Departure Hall), Changi Airport

2) T3 Underground Carnival Games

The T3 Underground Carnival has over 30 carnival games and activities spread across three sections: The Great World, The Modern World, and The Future World.
The Great World is a journey down memory lane. Inspired by amusement parks in the 60s, you’ll find nostalgic carnival games, heritage photo zones, and traditional snacks like chocolate wafers.

The Modern World represents the present and features games such as Dart Balloon, King of Hammer, plus a 3D shooting gallery with various difficulties and maps!

The Future World was our favourite of the three, with many fun attractions like the Dino-Kart 3.0. We had a great time go-karting up to 30km/h, paired with flashy neon disco lights and vibey music.

Here you’ll also find the World of Jellyfish installation — a room flanked with mirrors and vibrant “jellyfish” hanging around. It actually reminded us of the woodsprites floating around in Avatar 🤭.
*Note: All carnival games require credits that are earned through a one-to-one conversion rate (S$1 = 1 credit), or by spending a minimum of S$50 at participating outlets at Changi Airport and Jewel.
*Pro-tip: Get up to 15% off carnival credits by purchasing on the iChangi app.
Opening hours: 11AM – 10PM
Event period: 19 Nov 2022 – 2 Jan 2023
Address: Terminal 3, Changi Airport
3) Glamping in the Clouds

Glamping in the Clouds is back at Jewel with new Avatar-themed tents fitted with comfy cushions and two queen-sized beds (accommodates up to four people). Lined with gorgeous ficus trees adorned with fairy lights, this luxury camp is perfect for a glamourous staycay!

But if an afternoon picnic is all you need, opt for a glampicnic instead (up to six guests), which comes with a free tea party set 🫖.
Both the glampcation and glampicnic have special perks as well, including Avatar 2 merchandise and River Wonder tickets!
Glampcation
Cost: S$400 (Mon – Thu), S$450 (Fri – Sun)
Opening hours: 6PM – 10AM (next day)
Glampicnic
Cost: S$200 (Mon – Thu), S$225 (Fri – Sun)

4) Christmas Odyssea at Jewel

Apart from carnival games and luxurious staycays, check out beautiful Christmas decorations at Jewel’s Christmas Odyssea too — with an aquatic twist.
What impressed us was a towering 16m-tall Christmas tree at the entrance of Shiseido Forest Valley, decked in blue lights and underwater-themed decor like corals.

Of course, there’s also Jewel’s star attraction — the HSBC Rain Vortex Light & Sound show, showcasing festive colours for the Christmas season. There’s also an exclusive light and sound show inspired by Avatar: The Way of Water, designed by renowned water-feature designer, WET!

We’re no strangers to meeting life-sized dinosaurs along the Changi Park Connector. But this time, the 3km stretch will be illuminated with colours inspired by the long-awaited Avatar 2!
For the very first time, Terminal 2 (opposite carpark 2A) will also be hosting food trucks at the start of the Park Connector. So have your fill of local delicacies, burgers, and ice cream before embarking on a journey to “another world” 😎.
