Pro-tips for Disney Cruise Singapore Adventure
As we manifest being able to go on the Disney cruise next year, it won’t hurt to learn tips about being on board.
We had the pleasure of experiencing a three-night Disney cruise from Sydney, and were able to pick up a few things that would be very helpful for future guests of Disney Cruise Singapore.

1) Download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App: This helps you manage your reservations, view deck plans, make payments, modify your room, and check in online. It also lets you book activities, view dining assignments, and make special requests.
This is also where you’ll fill out personal details and health declaration forms needed before you board.
2) Pre-book workshops early: We encourage you to download the Navigator App as early as 60 days before your sailing date, since some paid activities may be available for reservations already. For example, the Disney Cruise in Sydney had a cool cocktail-making/alcohol-tasting workshop, which we had booked before we even set foot on the ship!
3) Book activities as soon as you board: To ensure you book a cruise experience at the time slot you want, visit the Navigator App once you board the vessel. The app can be used with the WiFi onboard, for free.
*Note: For further online browsing, you can pay for internet packages onboard.
4) Things to bring:
– Seasick pills: No matter how strong your tolerance is for seasickness, it’s always better to be prepared!
– Refillable water bottle: There are water fountains, so you don’t need to spend any money on drinking water… which can get expensive on the cruise ship.
– Lanyard: For your Key to the World card, which you use to purchase items and take pictures on board.

5) Dress up for the cruise: Many people were donning Disney-themed outfits on the cruise, and something a bit more formal during dinnertime, so feel free to do the same.
6) Take note of mandatory gratuity: On our Sydney Disney cruise experience, we paid ~US$14.50/pax for every day we spent, which would be given to staff on deck. This gratuity would be deducted from your card.

7) Get familiar with the movies: As obvious as it may sound, there are many references and Easter eggs on board that Disney fans will appreciate. For example, you’ll appreciate live shows more if you’ve watched the original material. So catch up on those movies before you sail… and that includes Marvel, Pixar and Star Wars films!
8) Ask the crew for pictures: While they do sell photo packages from official photographers, they can get expensive. So don’t be shy to ask crew members to help you take pictures — especially during meet-and-greets.
9) Decorate your cabin door: Not just for self-expression, but also so it’s easier to find your room. Makes for a good photo for memories, too!
10) Stay hungry: There will be no shortage of food when you’re riding the Disney Cruise Singapore, so it’s best to come here with an empty stomach. We’re sure all the activities and the gym will help you burn those calories, if that’s what you’re worried about 😉
And last but not least, make sure to keep up with the latest updates on our Disney Cruise Singapore article!
