2:13 – Sankaku Market — An outdoor market with many stalls dedicated to selling kaisendon (Japanese rice bowls with fresh seafood).
2:41 – Hiroyiyama Lighthouse — A 10-minute walk from the Otaru Aquarium bus stop that offers a view of the Sea of Japan.
2:58 – Otaru Stained Glass Museum — One of many museums in the Otaru Art Base where you get to admire stained glass artwork.
DAY 4: ASAHIKAWA – 3:14

4:25 – Tokachidake Observatory — The starting point of many hiking trails. Or simply soak in the view of nearby volcanoes and mountains.
4:50 – Shikisai No Oka — Feed cute alpacas in the farm, or take a pic in its flower gardens.
5:09 – Katsuissen Sushi — Sushi belt restaurants are one of the must-tries in Hokkaido! Make sure to reserve a table prior as it can get pretty busy.
