How to get to Ubud from Singapore

A direct flight from Singapore to Bali usually takes 3 hours. Pro-tip for the cheapest flight fares — set up a price alert about three to six months ahead so you’ll be notified of price drops.

Once you arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport, we recommend booking an airport transfer to get to Ubud as the nearest pick-up point for Grab and Gojek is 1km away at HARRIS Hotel Kuta Tuban. There are also taxis available when you land, although drivers may overcharge you for their services.

Getting around Ubud

There are no public trains and buses in Bali, so your best option to explore Ubud’s hidden gems  is via ride-hailing services like Grab and Gojek! However, take note that it can be difficult to get a ride in the more remote areas.

Renting a scooter is also an option, but it isn’t suitable for group travel and may be banned for tourists in the near future.

Alternatively, renting a private car charter is useful when travelling in groups. With a private car charter, you can explore the five main areas of Bali, including Tabanan, Badung, Denpasar, Gianyar, and Bangli (which includes Ubud), for up to 10 hours.
