“Lumos” — you’ll want to light up your wands before stepping into this mysterious forbidden forest 🪄
Yes, the forbidden forest might be off-limits and dangerous but as wizards and witches of Hogwarts, that’s what makes exploring it fun!
So, for all you Potterheads, here’s a sneak peek into the new Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest in Singapore ⚡ where we got up close to creatures from the Harry Potter™ and the Fantastic Beasts™ films like Hippogriffs and Nifflers, and even got to do a spell battle.
Try bowing to the majestic Hippogriff and if you’re worthy (like me), you’ll get a bow back!
Celeste can attest that the troll did not smell good.
*Pro-tip: Look out for these symbols along the trail! This is where you can use the HP Forbidden Forest Experience App and learn fun facts about the Wizarding World.
We even spotted Hagrid taking Fang out for a walk!
Be careful though, you might run into Aragog on the way 🕷️
There are also interactive segments where you can wave your “wand” or hand to cast a spell! This one’ll tell you what your Patronus is — mine’s a rabbit!
*Pro-tip: Bring your own wand or grab a new one at the merch shop before entering the forest! There are plenty of photo spots to use it😅
Are you team Gryffindor or team Slytherin?
And after you’re done wandering the forest, you can grab some food and sweet ol’ butterbeer! We got ourselves a Hogwarts House Surprise Buns (S$8), a Chocolate Frog Mud Cake (S$12) and Butterbeer (S$8) 🍺
Don’t forget to drop by the merch shop too and bring home a cute Niffler plush (S$36) or even your own Light Up Wand (S$72) 🪄
