Itinerary (9 days, 8 nights)
Arrive in Kathmandu — meet up with your new travel pals and explore the city. Do some last-minute shopping for essential gear and rest early before the start of the expedition!
The expedition begins with a 6-hour drive to the trek’s starting point. From there, it’ll be a short trek up to our tea house for the night.
The Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek is suitable for beginners, but it’s no walk in MacRitchie Reservoir. Throughout the journey, we’ll pace ourselves, take leisurely breaks, and pause for picturesque moments amidst the stunning mountain scenery.
Get ready for a visual treat as we pass through valleys flanked by stunning snow-capped mountains. This trek takes us to the closest viewpoint possible of Mount Macchapucchre (6993m) and Mardi Himal (5587m), and provides panoramic views of the massif Annapurna Range (7219m-8091m).
After 4 days of trekking through the mountains, we take a jeep down to Pokhara — back to civilisation and a nice warm shower!
Pokhara serves as the gateway to the Himalayas for trekkers, but also boasts some of the most exciting activities – such as paragliding, zip lining, or white water rafting. If these sound too adrenaline-pumping for you, relax in town with a cup of coffee overlooking the Phewa Lake, or just explore the city!
Start early with a 8-hour drive back to Kathmandu, before catching our flight back to Singapore!
