We all love the idea of travelling for work. But is it really travelling if you don’t get to explore your boundaries, broaden your perspectives and bring home a new slice of the world while you’re at it?
After a long hiatus, our month-long Travel Intern Life Programme is finally back. This time, we’re looking for up to three creators to join us in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Travel deeper to experience local gems, explore surrounding regions on day trips, and create content that inspires other travellers.
Psst… And did we mention that return flights, accommodation, and travel allowance are also included?

For this chapter of The Travel Intern Life, you’ll be calling KiN Hotel your home base — one of HCMC’s fastest growing hospitality brands.

Who we’re looking for:
Curious and committed creators who are ready to show up fully for a month of living, exploring, and creating in Vietnam. Don’t worry, weekends are off!
You should:
– Have a good command of English (spoken and written)
– Have at least 1,000 followers on Instagram or TikTok with a publicprofile – Hold a passport that allows entry into Vietnam (more than 6 months validity) – Be comfortable on camera, including filming yourself and recording voiceovers
– Have experience scripting, filming, and editing social media content independently – Understands what makes a good hook
As part of the programme, you’ll be expected to:
– Research and plan travel content: identifying places, experiences, and stories worth sharing
– Use your own filming and editing equipment, including a phone or camera, microphone, and editing tools such as Adobe or CapCut
– Work on 12 short form content videos (accommodation guides, travel guides etc) that may be posted on @KinVietnam or @TheTravelIntern
More than numbers or aesthetics, we care about how you see the world — and how you translate that into stories which others want to know.
Here are some examples of content you’ll be dabbling with:
– A sponsored 1-month trip to Ho Chi Minh City between mid Apr to mid May 2026
– Allowance of USD1,000
– Return flights, accommodation, insider recommendations, sponsored experiences with our host
– Content creation guidance – A one-of-a-kind experience and be a part of a growing community of like-minded travellers

Build your portfolio — Work on your craft, if you love what you do, it shows.
Love making videos but don’t have good travel footage? Get creative around where you stay! What’s normal to you might be a gem to someone else.
Get familiar with us (online & offline) — Interact with us enough and we’ll definitely notice. We read almost every comment you post, whether it’s on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or TikTok!
