We’re bringing 8 Singapore-based creators to Hong Kong for 5 days to explore the city, create authentic content and compete for exciting prizes.

You’ll experience a different side of Hong Kong, develop original travel stories and put your creativity to the test alongside a community of fellow creators.

The 8 selected creators will be paired up and assigned different areas of Hong Kong to explore. Each pair will plan an itinerary around the challenge’s content pillars and spend 3 days collecting content.

On Day 4, everyone will regroup for a content hackathon, where creators will work on one of their Reels before presenting their ideas and sharing what they have created. We’ll then wrap up the experience with some well-deserved R&R!

After the trip, creators will be given time to work on their deliverables before posting the final version on their own social media platforms.

Each creator will be required to produce:

• 2 Instagram Reels, each crossposted to TikTok (vice-versa)
• At least 15 unvetted Instagram Stories posted throughout the trip

Selected creators will receive the full content brief, approval process and posting timeline before departure.

Creators will be competing for the following prizes:

• 1st place: S$5,000
• 2nd place: S$2,500
• 3rd place: S$1,000

Regardless of the final results, all 8 selected creators will receive complimentary flights, accommodation and curated experiences in Hong Kong.

Final results will be determined by:

• Community performance: Based on the views, likes, comments and shares received by the submitted Reels
• Judging panel: Based on an evaluation by representatives from the Hong Kong Tourism Board and The Travel Intern

The complete judging criteria and measurement period will be shared with the selected creators before the content goes live.

Selected creators must be available for the entire trip and all mandatory briefings.

Applicants must:

• Be based in Singapore and be at least 21 years old as of 24 November 2026
• Hold a passport with more than 6 months’ validity from the travel dates
• Be available from 25 – 29 November 2026 and for all mandatory briefings
• Have public Instagram and TikTok accounts
• Have experience creating content related to food, culture, arts or adventure
• Have at least 2,000 followers on your main social media account
• Have a predominantly Singaporean audience
• Be able to fulfil all campaign deliverables and posting deadlines

Applicants must have at least 2,000 followers to be eligible. However, follower count is not the only consideration — we’ll also look at your content quality, storytelling ability, relevance to the challenge and overall profile fit.

Yes, provided that you are currently based in Singapore and will depart from Singapore with the group. You must also be legally able to enter Hong Kong and complete any necessary visa arrangements independently. Visa fees and application costs will not be covered.

Yes. Both your Instagram and TikTok accounts must be set to public during the application and campaign period so that we can review your content and track the performance of your campaign posts.

Once selected, you’ll be paired with another creator and assigned an area of Hong Kong to explore.

Together, you’ll plan a well-rounded itinerary based on the campaign brief and the 4 content pillars: food, culture, arts and adventure. Each pair will receive an additional S$500 spending budget to support content collection.

The Travel Intern team will also provide guidance during the planning process and on-ground support throughout the trip.

Return flights between Singapore and Hong Kong, and shared accommodation will be covered. Each pair will also receive a S$500 spending budget to cover approved food, activities, local transport and other content-related expenses before the start of the challenge.

Travel insurance, mobile data, visa-related costs and personal expenses will not be covered.

Before the trip
Creators will attend a mandatory online briefing on the evening of 26 October 2026 to meet the group, understand the challenge brief and plan their itineraries.

Flight to Hong Kong and the start of content collection

Days 2–3: 26 – 27 November 2026
Content collection in your assigned area

Day 4: 28 November 2026
Content hackathon, creator showcase and R&R

Day 5: 29 November 2026
R&R and flight back to Singapore

The schedule is subject to change based on final flight timings and operational requirements.

Each pair will be assigned a different area of Hong Kong. Possible areas include:

• Central and Sheung Wan
• Kowloon City and Kai Tak
• Yau Tsim Mong
• Sai Kung
• Lantau Island
• Yuen Long and Tuen Mun

The final area allocation will be shared with selected creators during the planning stage.

Selected creators will receive a detailed packing list before departure. As you’ll be filming and exploring independently, remember to bring your preferred content-creation equipment, chargers, power banks and sufficient storage, in addition to your travel essentials.

No additional creator fee will be provided. However, selected creators will receive complimentary return flights, accommodation and a budget for approved content-related expenses. They will also stand a chance to win prizes and bonus awards.
