Co-founder of The Travel Intern, Hendric left his full-time job back in 2014 to travel ~ and the rest is history. An outdoor lover, content creator, and ex-breakdancer in his younger days (still thinks he’s young), you can count on Hendric to show you the best of Austria while edging you out of your comfort zone.
Shawne can be described as a travel addict, travel creator, vlogger, and filmmaker (you might know him on YouTube as shawneydepp). Get behind the scenes of his works while picking up a couple of travel content creation tips, and connect over all things life and travel.

Arrive in Salzburg early in the morning, check out the Redbull Hangar 7 which is just a 4-minute drive from the airport (there’s also a bus that will take you there). Drop off your bags at the hotel and explore the charming city of Salzburg at your own pace before meeting us in the evening for a quick briefing in the rooms!
Hallstatt is one of those must-visit iconic locations so grab some breakfast (incl. from the hotel) before we whisk you away to this picturesque city! Visit the world’s oldest salt mine before hunting for the best photo spots to catch at sunset.
Pack your bags, we’ll be leaving for Zillertal, where we’ll spend the next six nights in a cosy chalet on a farm. Get ready for a unique evening hiking experience and some schnapps degustation.
We’ll spend the next three days on the slopes! Just a 10-minute ride from the accommodation, you’ll have access to wide runs across three different areas. Beginners can sign up for lessons, those who have gotten their S-turns on snowboards can start exploring with the group or with a hired mountain guide.
Take a chill day — you could pet the farm animals, go on a nearby hike, or take a day trip to Innsbruck (perhaps sign up for a scenic paragliding ride), and explore the charming old town.
Get acquainted with the Alpacas while hiking around with views of the Austrian alps. Then grab your sleds as we’ll be sledding down one of the longest sled runs in Austria spanning over 7km!
Pack your bags, say bye to your favourite farm animals (and humans). We’ll be taking a private charter to Salzburg Airport where you can either continue your adventures in Austria or catch your flight back to Singapore! ✈️

We’ll be staying two nights in Salzburg before driving down to Zillertal Valley for the next six nights.
The accommodation in Salzburg is a hotel in the heart of the city (~30mins from the airport by bus). Rooms are twin share — if you’re on the trip with a friend and would prefer to share rooms, let us know and we’ll arrange it accordingly! If not, this is the perfect opportunity to get to know someone.

In Zillertal, we’ll be staying in a cosy chalet on a farm! There are two room options here: rooms for 2 pax and another room with two bunk beds (4 pax). Let us know your preference in the form and we’ll arrange it for you.
In Salzburg, we’ll be dining out but in Zillertal, the chalet has a full kitchen and a supermarket nearby so for those who love preparing their own meals or just want to save a little, feel free to make use of the kitchen!
Learning something new is way more fun when experienced with other like-minded people! This is the perfect chance to pick up new skills while making new friends.
Beginners are highly encouraged to sign up for 3-day classes which will get you confident with navigating around the gorgeous Austrian Mountains.
We’re looking for up to 14 fun-loving travellers who’d love to explore together!
Whether you’re a solo traveler or want to tag along with some friends, you’re in for a great time. The trip will also be hosted by Hendric and Shawne who are both avid travellers and humble content creators who will be more than happy to show you behind the scenes of their works.
International flights to and fro are not included in this package! This gives you the flexibility to plan if you’d like to extend your trip before or after joining us! If you’d like to travel with us, let us know and we’ll send you our schedule of recommended flights!
We will meet in Salzburg! For those arriving on our recommended flights, we have one transfer from Salzburg airport to the meeting point at our hotel. If you’re arriving at a separate time or from elsewhere, just let us know and we’ll provide instructions to getting there!
