Terms and Conditions:
By placing a deposit, it is deemed that you have read, understood and accepted the following terms and conditions:
1) A 20% deposit is required in order to confirm your participation in this tour experience.
2) The remaining fee to the tour agency is to be paid at least 90 days prior to the commencement of the trip. Payment shall be made in SGD, cheque, bank transfer, or credit card (subject to 3.4% merchant fee) to the designated bank account.
- Failure to make full payment by the deadline may result in removal from the tour, and any penalties, additional fees, or financial losses incurred due to non-payment shall be borne by the participant. MORE BETTER PTE LTD will not be responsible for any costs arising from trip cancellations due to non-payment. All cancellation charges as stated below will apply.
3) The tour agency reserves the right to cancel or rearrange trips in the event we face circumstances beyond the tour agency’s control that will not allow the trip to continue. These factors include (and are not limited to): Natural disasters in host country, unforeseen logistical issues faced by vendors in the host country, and not fulfilling the minimum number of participants for the trip to commence
If the tour agency is unable to arrange an alternate trip, or if the arrangements are rejected by the client, a full refund less any transaction fees and payments to vendors (e.g. flights, deposits) will be provided.
4) The tour agency reserves all rights to modify the trip itinerary for safety reasons. These may include, and not limited to clients’ abilities, weather conditions or any unforeseen circumstances. This may result in additional costs such as hotel, and flight ticket changes that will have to be borne by you.
5) Your safety is our utmost priority. In the event you are assessed by either the staff at MORE BETTER PTE LTD or the local guides to be unfit to continue due to sickness, injuries, or physical limitations, you may be asked to turn back without refund. If you find it difficult to keep up with the pace of the group, you may be asked to hire an additional guide or transportation. to accompany you as the rest of the group proceeds, or turn back down with a guide.
Any additional costs for evacuation or extra guides will be borne by you.
6) MORE BETTER PTE LTD reserves the right to refuse service before or during the trip due to disruptive behaviour, lack of physical fitness, and safety considerations. We want the best experience for our guests, so some level of curation may be necessary.
– Disruptive behaviour can include but is not limited to attempts of manipulation, bullying, rudeness, aggression, or lying
– Lack of physical fitness can include but are not limited to concerns over pre-tour training, adequate preparation, and mental resilience affecting physical performance.
– Safety considerations can include but are not limited to refusal to follow safety instructions, excessive anxiety or fear that hinders progress, distrust, excessive negativity, and refusing to communicate.
– This kind of behaviour is detrimental on a group tour, especially where resilience is a requirement for these physically demanding trips. Our duty of care is to the entire group as a whole and we will not tolerate conduct that endangers others.
– MORE BETTER PTE LTD will issue a full refund for the tour if we refuse to take you on the trip.
– The local guides and MORE BETTER PTE LTD has the sole discretion to determine whether you are suitable to continue.
– There are no refunds for refusal of services during the tour, and you will need to make your own arrangements to leave the tour early.
7) Cancellation Policy
-If the agency had already made any arrangements with vendors or airlines at the time of cancellation, you will be responsible for any additional costs exceeding the penalty amount stated below.
– Cancellation charges will apply prior to the start date of the trip according to the following notice periods and percentage of final trip value invoiced:
a. 90 days or more: full refund which includes your deposit, less a $200 administrative fee
b. Between 31-90 days: 60%
c. 30 days or less: 100%
d. Trips cancelled with 30 days or less notice before the trip commencement date will be subject to a full penalty fee.
Any amount refunded to the client will be processed within 30 days from the (i) date of cancellation or (ii) the date where rearrangements were rejected by the client.
6. What are the toilets or showers like? Each of the glass domes are equipped with its own en-suite toilet and gas-powered hot shower, except for the first night’s.
