4. What is the weather going to be like?
Day temperatures range from 15-25C, and the nights drop to 0-10C. The temperatures vary depending upon the altitude, wind and other weather conditions, so it’s still important to bring layers to stay warm.
5. What are the accommodations like?
In the cities, indulge in comfort in modern hotels with cozy twin-sharing rooms.

6. What are the toilets or showers like?
Each of the glass domes are equipped with its own en-suite toilet and gas-powered hot shower, except for the first night’s.
7. Do I need a certain level of fitness?
It’s no walk in the park, but definitely possible for beginners or first-time multi-day hikers if you train for it. There will be long hours of uphill hiking and we’ll reach high altitudes of up to 4,650m in the trek. Having a moderate level of fitness will definitely make your experience more enjoyable. You should be comfortable walking 6-8hrs a day with a 5kg load.We’ll be hosting an optional (but highly encouraged) training hike and will share a training programme before the start of the expedition to ensure a base fitness level for all participants!
8. Do I need any specific vaccination?
Yes, you will need the yellow fever vaccine. It is available in selected hospitals and travel clinics in Singapore. We will share more after sign up!
9. What if the tour gets cancelled due to insufficient sign-ups?
If you’d like, we can help you organise a private tour for you and a friend with our trusted partners in Peru! There will not be any TTI staff on a private tour. The final price will depend on the number of people in your group.
10. How is this different from going on my own?
Trips to lesser-known destinations are more fun with a big group! But not everyone has friends that are willing to jump onto an adventure at a moments notice. We planned this community trip so you can meet other fellow adventurers from different walks of life that are equally passionate about travel. There’s also safety in numbers, and our team on the ground will lookout for each and every one of you 🙂
What’s more, our TTI Experiences team will be on the ground capturing different moments from the trip. We’ll be sharing some edited photos for you to remember all the small, epic, and silly moments.
11. What are your cancellation policies?
Cancellation Policy
– If the agency had already made any arrangements with vendors or airlines at the time of cancellation, you will be responsible for any additional costs exceeding the penalty amount stated below.
– Cancellation charges will apply prior to the start date of the trip according to the following notice periods and percentage of final trip value invoiced:
a. 90 days or more: full refund which includes your deposit, less a $200 administrative fee
b. Between 31-90 days: 60%
c. 30 days or less: 100%
– Trips cancelled with 30 days or less notice before the trip commencement date will be subject to a full penalty fee.
– Any amount refunded to the client will be processed within 30 days from the (i) date of cancellation or (ii) the date where rearrangements were rejected by the client.
